OMG!!! I logged in today and noticed that I have over a thousand page views. Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to come in and look around.

I'd like to send a special thanks to *andras120 ([link]) for all the wonderful support and encouragement. You are doing EXACTLY what I set out to accomplish when I picked up my camera for the first time. I've tried to capture nature as you have done, but I must admit I've failed miserably. I keep hearing that I should practice, practice, practice, and not give up. Supposedly, that will help. I sure hope so. I want to be like you when I grow up!

Wait a minute... I'm already grown up... drat!

I discovered today that I've officially moved into a new age bracket. How depressing and exciting at the same time! My birthday was Feb 21st (Happy Birthday to me ) and I just turned 35. I was filling out a survey online today, and I realized that I'm now in the 35-44 age group. Goodbye 18-34 youngsters. Hello fellow "middle-agers". Isn't that weird?

For those who know me, I just wanted to take a few moments to let you all know that I've passed my exam for the State Board of Nursing. I'm officially an RN! Thanks to all of you who believed in me and offered support and encouragement when I stopped believing in myself. If it were not for all of you (and you know who you are ) I would have never finished this journey. I love you all and you cannot know how much I appreciate everything you've done.

I can't believe I've posted over 100 deviations! I can see a big difference between my old pics and my new ones, and I'm gaining confidence daily. Thanks so much to all of you who have taken time to visit my gallery and comment on my shots. I really appreciate hearing from you
